Within the framework of the Forum “Humanities, Science and Technology, as a Strategic Basis for National Development”, MP Araceli Celestino Rozas (PT) reiterated the firm commitment of the Labor faction in favor of promoting humanities, sciences and technology in our region. country.

During her participation, the Puebla state legislator noted that the most important tool for the Global Partnership on Gender Equality (GPPT) is education, which must be leveraged through the development generated by new technologies.

In a statement, he explained that within the national agenda for this topic, 10 national strategic programs have been developed aimed at solving the needs, problems and challenges within society, in which the scientific community of various categories participated. Higher education institutions and research centers, among others, to achieve the stated goals.

“One of them is in the health branch, where there is the development of the “Patria” vaccine, which shows us the importance of promoting and achieving its mission, as great benefits will be promoted for the population, in this case, dealing with the epidemic caused by Covid-19.”

On her occasion, Representative Anna Karina Rojo Pimentel (PT) stressed the importance of science and technology, and the urgent matters that must be improved in our country to meet the different demands within our society.

“These resources must be improved; they must be generated in our nation and in this way we will be able to avoid importing medicines or bringing in knowledge from other countries,” said the congresswoman from Mexico City.
