PREPA promises that this will ensure generation

The Electricity Authority (PREPA) announced this afternoon that production capacity will increase in the next few hours.

Thanks to “Aguirre plant unit # 1 synchronized with the island’s electrical system, it has returned to the computer as one of the most important basic units”.

Yesterday, Luma Energy announced that “due to low generation capacity”, thousands of customers may experience service disruptions in the afternoon and evening.

As of 6:00 pm today, there are 24,370 subscribers without electricity, according to PREPA data.
