With Dexter Lembigisa's stunning goal, Jamaica defeated Panama 1-0 in Arlington (USA) this Sunday to clinch third place in the 2024 CONCACAF Nations League.

The winner of the third edition of the tournament will be decided in the final between Mexico and the United States this Sunday at 8:15pm local (Monday 01:15 GMT) at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

Jamaican winger Dexter Lembigisa scored the only goal of the win against Panama in the 42nd minute, when he bicycled his defender into the area's balcony and fired a left-footed shot into the top corner.

Panamanian Jose Rodriguez had a great chance to equalize before the break, but his powerful shot was denied by goalkeeper Andre Blake.

With the win, Jamaica finished third in the Nations League, competing in the final four for the first time.

In Thursday's semi-final against the United States, the 'Reggae Boys' were on the scoreboard for 96 minutes before forward Corey Burke scored an own goal that sent the game 1-1 into extra time, in which the locals decided. Won 3-1.
