Olympia is king after winning gold at the Olympics

The third day of the National League’s Apertura tournament ended with a flurry of goals in various fields across the country, with high-profile commentary.

The biggest winners on this date were the Meringues of Olympia, who made the most of their visit to the Olympic Stadium after defeating Marathon 2-1.

Led by Pedro Troglio, they landed at Marathon, which was left with six units and they were on top with 9.

Despite the defeat, Manolo Giosian’s side remain in second place with six points after winning the first two.

Motagua finished third after an excellent performance against the Blues, which slipped to a last-minute winner in a 2-2 draw against Vida de Fernando Mira.

They are tied on points in fourth, fifth and sixth place: Victoria, Vida and Real Espana with four units. La Jaiba were the only winners to beat UPNFM 4-0, a side that had made a good impression against Real Sociedad earlier in the day.

Los Lobos and Real Sociedad added victory in the match, while in the basement Olancho (2) and Honduras Progresso (1) did not know how to celebrate the victory.

The fourth will take place this Saturday and Sunday, August 13 and 14: UPNFM vs. Honduras Progresso Saturday at 5:00 p.m.; Vida vs Real Sociedad at 7.30pm; And already on Sunday, at 3:00 Olancho FC vs. Olympia; Marathon vs Modagua at 4:00 p.m.; And to close the day, Real Espana vs. Victoria at 5:00pm at the Morazan Stadium behind closed doors to the public.
