Before the end of the half, Liverpool got back on the scoreboard with Virgil van Dijk, who headed a corner kick from the right in a move where the defender beat everyone on the jump.

Already in the second half, the English again managed a big counterattack until the 67th minute when Kagbo and Soboslai finished the first-class shot after a pass from the Dutch.

With the match practically decided, Arne Slott sent Colombian Luis Díaz on, where the Colombians had no dangerous chances as Liverpool committed themselves to keeping the ball as the minutes ticked by.

With the win, Liverpool moved up to third in the Champions League table and they face Bologna at Anfield next.
