Liviu Trocnia was brought to the DNA in connection with a visit to the United States in 2017

Liviu Draknia, the former head of the PSD, was taken to DNA headquarters in Bucharest on Thursday in connection with his 2017 visit to the United States. He was brought in with a van and taken away from prison, News.ro reported.

PSD reportedly paid $ 100,000 to US lobby Madison & Co to facilitate the meeting of Social Democrat leader Livy Draknia with Vice President Mike Pence, House Speaker Paul Ryan and other influential political figures. Later, the PSD leader posted on Facebook pictures in which he appeared to be talking to Trump on what he called a “forbidden dinner”, although the pictures showed that the number of people attending the event was very high.
