Cooperstown has been appointed Sports Advisor to the Immortal Point Martinez Executive Branch.
The announcement was made by President Luiz Abinader within the framework of the redesign of the San Lazaro Sports Club, which was presented yesterday at a ceremony held at the same structure as Jobo Bonito.
“Pedro will help us work with young people in sports, not just baseball players, but also young people who follow other disciplines,” Abinader said, adding that in coordinating any sporting activity about joining the best Dominican star in these efforts to help young people.
On his side, Point Pedro, who attended the event with his wife Carolina Cruz de Martinez, was pleased to continue to bring a positive message to many children and young people in need of better guidance.
“As a Dominican, one of my top priorities is helping these young people to be better human beings and they are always striving to walk the good path,” Martinez said, in whose position he hopes to help more young people fall in love with sports practice.
