The Colombian national team did not qualify for the Qatar 2022 World Cup, but other Colombians have shown their talent and potential in international football and led to their small following being taken into account by other countries. In the tricolor team..

With the official rosters for Qatar 2022 ready, there were many surprises based on calls from the United States and Canada, who confirmed the presence of the Colombian in their payroll and marveled at the talent hidden in the Central American nation.

The first team to confirm the presence of a Colombian player was the United States, which surprisingly included Jesus Ferreira, son of former Colombian footballer David Ferreira, in the final list. The same striker who plays in Dallas confirmed that he prefers the US team over Colombia because of the few opportunities to play for his country at the World Cup.

Likewise, in the same region of Central America, Canada’s return to the World Cup after 36 years was a surprise, as their last meeting was in Mexico in 1986 and they were able to return to the highest national team championship after a generation of great soccer players.

However, Canada surprised by the addition of Jonathan Osorio, a Colombian-Canadian who plays for MLS’s Toronto FC.

Colombia, on the other hand, will be represented not only by football players but also by two coaches and a referee.

Costa Rica will have coach Luis Fernando Suarez and his assistant John Jairo Bodmar, who will be remembered for promoting Tigres Football Club to the BetPlay League in 2016 and has formed a surprisingly good pairing with the coach of Ticos, so now they believe. Wins against Spain, Japan and Germany in Group E matches.
