Buenos Aires’ Minister of Security, Sergio Berni, has again attacked President Alberto Fernandez for “the damage done” to everyone’s front, a political space he said he could not confirm he was still part of “because I don’t know what it represents”. Official Axel Kiselov explained that the main problem of the country is not economic, but political.
This week, Bernie accused the president of causing “irreversible damage” from his national economic plan. “He failed the voters,” he said. And now the minister attacked him again because of internal differences between the leaders of the ruling coalition. “If there is one thing this political space has lost, it is cohesion,” he said.
In televised statements, Bernie referred to the fine paid by Alberto Fernandez for the party that was held in Olivos during the pandemic, and noted that “I was the most critical of what the president did because of his refusal of the party.” He considered that “the damage he inflicted on our political space was a profound harm, harming all of us and costing us dearly.”
Faced with this scenario, the Buenos Aires official considered that people are starting to lose credibility because “the government has occupied”.
