Millonarios received bad news last Saturday May 11 during the match against Deportivo Pereira for home runs of the BetPlay League, where, beyond winning, they were without Argentine striker Santiago Giordana, who could not finish the game. He injured a muscle in his leg.

While fans of the ambassador group lamented another fresh injury for the player, Millonarios announced the medical report and how long he will be out of action.

Millonarios reported on its official website that Santiago Giordana has injured his right hamstring, confirming his absence from the next Copa Libertadores match against Palestine, where the ambassador team must secure three points and continue with chances until the deadline.

Likewise, Giordana's injury will sideline him against Palestino and Atletico Bucaramanga next Sunday, May 19, for Date 3 of the BetPlay League semi-final home runs.

In the medical report reported by Millonarios, it is worth noting that Santiago Giordana has already started rehabilitation processes and that his return to the fields will depend on how his muscle discomfort develops.
