Ecuador presents official roster for Copa America: Gonzalo Plata and Robert Arbolida ruled out | Football

The Ecuadorian football team has announced the official roster for the 2024 Copa America tournament in the United States.

Tricolor coach Félix Sánchez Paz has opted to drop Gonzalo Plata and Robert Arboleda from the payroll, two men involved in a nightclub encounter on a FIFA date last March.

Carlos Alfaro Moreno on Copa America: Ecuador is South America's third power and should at least make the semi-finals.

Unlike Kendry Páez, who was taken into account, players from Sao Paulo FC and Al Sadd from Qatar were punished by the coach, which was already decided last week.
