Corbin BurnsMilwaukee Browers won the 2021 National League Psy Young Award, and this season he made history from Matt, the Baseball Writers Association of America (BBWAA) said Wednesday.
Burns was leading 11-5 and averaging (2.43) with 167 innings in 28 starts, leading the strikeouts (12.6) to nine innings and the lowest home runs (0.38) in Thursday’s innings; He finished second in the WHIP (0.94), third in the innings for nine innings (1.83) and fifth in the total strikeouts (234).
Since 1900, Pitcher Burns has been the top three finisher in both leagues, K / 9, BB / 9 and HR / 9. He joins Rowley Fingers (1981) and Pete Vukovic (1982) as members of the Brewers who receive distinction from the BBWAA.
