(CNN) — The best baseball player is Alex Rodriguez He talked about the mistakes he made in his personal and professional life and how they affected his growing business empire.

“At every game, we’re going to hook these guys up, we’re going to do interviews, and everybody’s watching baseball with their families at the barbecue.”

Alex Rodriguez turns to business

Another change Rodriguez wants to make in baseball is increasing players’ financial education, such as teaching capital markets, investing and the importance of balancing a checkbook.

“If we were to value our company, it would be $1 billion to $2 billion,” Rodriguez told Chris Wallace.
