A series of documentaries to learn how science is done in Santa Fe

The Department of Science, Technology and Innovation (Sectei) presented the course “Science in the Territory. Santa Fe Experiences”, with the aim of highlighting what science is and how science is done in the province.
In this regard, the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Marina Baima, stated that “it is important that we show what we are working with the scientific and technological community of Santa Fe and that in each institute we find an opportunity for our province to continue to grow.”
“This is part of a publishing project with science and technology innovation advisors, with whom we will work on developing audiovisual courses and podcasts, among other products. These actions are very important to highlight everything the province does in terms of innovation and knowledge,” the official completed.
For her part, the Director of the Regional Institute for Social and Historical Research (UNR-Conicet), Sandra Fernandez, one of the champions of the audiovisual field, noted that “the social and human sciences are consolidating and producing important and innovative knowledge. Thanks to individual and collective research that is concerned with theoretical and methodological issues in the field, and promotes Studies that refer and turn to the social environment in its various aspects and aspects.
Similarly, she noted, “Supporting lines of study oriented toward basic research, but applied to transforming knowledge and practices that have a strong impact on the environment, particularly at the district and district levels, need arguments and contributions that improve production conditions, qualitative data management, and performance in Publishing and Connecting Sectei’s commitment was intrinsic to addressing challenges in social research that allow us to make our work visible, to standardize what we’ve done and to diversify new lines and interests,” concluded Fernandez.

Weekly session with prominent researchers
The Audio-Visual Champions are researchers working in the Santa Fe System of Science, Technology, and Innovation (CTI) institutions, many of whom are implementing projects and initiatives that have received support through various programs of Sectei and the Santa Fe Agency for Science, Technology, and Innovation (ASaCTeI).
The first two chapters are led by Sandra Fernandez and Director of the Institute of Molecular Biotechnology at Rosario-IBR (UN-Conicet), Javier Palatnik; the third and fourth, by Director of the Rosario Institute of Biotechnology and Chemical Processes (IPROByQ, UNL-Conicet), Hugo Menzella, and Florencia Lucila Zelli of the National Institute of Oceanography (INALI, UNL-Conicet); V and VI, authored by Taihu Beer of the Franco-Argentine International Center for Information Sciences and Systems (CIFASIS, UNL-Conicet) and José Pensiero of the Institute of Agricultural Sciences of the Sahel (ICIAGRO, UNL-Conicet); and the seventh and eighth, by Hugo Ortega of the Institute of Veterinary Sciences of the Sahel (ICIVet Litoral, UNL-Conicet) and Juan Carlos Yuri of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering of the National University of the Sahel.
The course will be published weekly on the networks of the General Secretariat, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter (cienciasantafe), and will be attended by members of the scientific and technological system of the province of Santa Fe.
