Venezuela Opposition thanks Dominican Republic for searching for regular immigrants

The Venezuelan opposition on Thursday celebrated the establishment of offices in the Dominican Republic, helping immigrants from the oil country regularize their position on the island, of which 89.7% are in an illegal immigration situation.

“We are celebrating the opening of an office to regularize the more than 100,000 Venezuelan immigrants living in the Dominican Republic. This is a very important step for our fellow countrymen living there, as about 89% have irregular immigration status,” Julio Borges said on Twitter.
