NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Nashville-based symphonic power metal band Valkyrie’s Fire has released the official music video for its new single, “Cascade,” offering fans a visually immersive experience inspired by the beauty of the night sky as the group prepares for the release of its debut full-length album, Out of Darkness, on September 18, 2026.

The new video, directed by ProMotion LLC and filmed at Precision Dynamics International in Franklin, Tennessee, marks the second music video and single from the forthcoming album, which will be released through Eclipse Records. The production combines performance footage with expansive cosmic imagery, creating a visual companion that mirrors the song’s atmospheric themes while reinforcing the band’s signature symphonic power metal sound.

Rather than relying on an elaborate storyline, the video focuses on the transition from dusk to darkness, allowing celestial visuals to complement the music and create an immersive viewing experience. The production highlights the gradual emergence of stars and constellations, capturing the sense of wonder associated with a clear night sky.

Frontwoman Bettie Floyd explained the visual approach behind the production, emphasizing “the all-black wardrobe serves as a deliberate visual anchor, letting the brilliant hues of the cosmos take center stage without cluttering the screen.”

Co-vocalist Adam Sanders added that “the production deliberately offers viewers a serene visual escape from daily noise, encouraging fans to pause and immerse themselves in cosmic splendor alongside the band’s soaring melodies.”

“Cascade” Highlights the Album’s Expansive Musical Direction

Lyrically, “Cascade” centers on the simple act of stargazing, portraying the moment when darkness reveals the vastness of space. The track embraces a reflective tone, contrasting with the heavier themes explored elsewhere on the upcoming album while maintaining the band’s orchestral arrangements and melodic intensity.

The release serves as another preview of Out of Darkness, a 13-track collection that represents Valkyrie’s Fire’s first full-length studio album. Produced and engineered by Joey Grimaldi, the record combines polished production with cinematic orchestration, positioning the band within the growing American symphonic metal scene.

The project also features artwork created by acclaimed artist Jan Yrlund, whose portfolio includes artwork for established metal acts such as Battle Beast, Manowar and Delain.

Among the album’s standout tracks is “Burning Sky,” featuring guest vocalist Mikael Sehlin of Amaranthe. In addition to his guest performance, Sehlin also contributed to the album’s mastering process, bringing another layer of experience to the production.

The song examines the resilience of the human spirit through historical and biblical themes, pairing powerful vocals with dramatic orchestral arrangements.

Album Blends Symphonic Scale With Modern Production

While “Burning Sky” emphasizes intensity and theatrical power, Out of Darkness also explores more introspective territory. The track “Evermore” draws inspiration from the works of Edgar Allan Poe, offering a reinterpretation that shifts from traditional darkness toward themes of hope and healing.

Across the album, Valkyrie’s Fire blends orchestral instrumentation, soaring vocal harmonies and modern production techniques, creating a sound influenced by European symphonic metal while reflecting the band’s Nashville roots.

The record aims to establish the group alongside internationally recognized acts in the genre by combining cinematic songwriting with contemporary production values.

Out of Darkness contains 13 tracks:

  1. In Spirit, In Shadow
  2. Evermore
  3. Valkyrie’s Fire

Building Momentum Before Album Release

The release of “Cascade” continues Valkyrie’s Fire’s promotional campaign leading up to the September launch of Out of Darkness. By pairing cinematic visuals with orchestral metal compositions, the band is expanding its presence within the symphonic power metal community while introducing its music to a broader audience.

With its debut album scheduled for release on September 18, 2026, Valkyrie’s Fire enters the next stage of its career with a project that combines polished musicianship, ambitious songwriting and large-scale visual storytelling. The arrival of “Cascade” offers listeners another glimpse into the band’s evolving artistic vision as anticipation builds for the complete album.
