Republican Attorney General candidate Jon Echols has announced a robust fundraising performance for the first quarter of 2026, reporting $307,000 in new contributions and taking his campaign’s cumulative total to more than $1.7 million.
The figures, released by the campaign in Oklahoma City, indicate a strong financial position as the race progresses towards the June 16 election. According to the campaign, the overall total now exceeds the $1.6 million raised by former Attorney General John O’Conner during the 2022 election cycle, suggesting Echols could set a new fundraising record for the office in Oklahoma.
The campaign attributes the result to sustained grassroots engagement and continued donor support across the state. While fundraising is only one measure of campaign strength, it is widely regarded as a key indicator of organisational capacity and voter outreach potential in statewide contests.
Campaign manager Isaac Hadam said the latest figures reflect growing alignment among supporters and momentum within the campaign.
