“Arrangements to protect lives and property in hurricane warning areas should be completed as soon as possible,” the National Hurricane Center said. A hurricane warning is in effect off the coast of Mexico from Puerto Veracruz to Capo Rojo. A tropical storm warning is in effect for the coast of Mexico from northern Cape Rojo to Barra del Torto.

Dangerous storms of 1.2 to 1.8 meters are forecast for the immediate coast within the hurricane warning area north of near the center of the coast tonight.
Hurricane conditions are expected at midnight today in some parts of the hurricane warning area, and tropical storm conditions are expected this afternoon. Widespread rain is expected from 152 to 304 millimeters, with isolated total possibilities of 457 millimeters until Sunday. Heavy rains in Grace will cause flash floods and urban flooding and landslides.

Grace has already hit Mexico once
When Grace first hit Mexico, it crossed the Yucatan Peninsula on Thursday, weakening into a tropical storm and withstanding speeds of up to 130 km / h.
As the east coast of Yucatan has been under hurricane warning since Tuesday, including Cancun, Gosmel and Punta Herrero, Grace moved west and better organized herself, attacking Jamaica and the Cayman Islands.
