Renowned American bodybuilder John LawnsKnown as the “mountain dog”, he died Sunday at the age of 49.

According to the portal Exercise Volt, Grass appears to have died of a pulmonary embolism in his sleep.

On the athlete’s profile on the social networking site Facebook, a statement was shared on behalf of Mary, The wife of the anatomy legend, in which the news was confirmed.

“I am posting this on behalf of Mary. This morning, John passed away unexpectedly and quietly at his home. As you can imagine, this was a complete shock to her and the boys,” the report said.

He said the wife would provide more information about what happened and that she was grateful for all the events that supported the family.

For more than 30 years Lawn has dedicated its life to fitness. In 2005 he was diagnosed with a rare disease of the colon. He also had a heart attack last year.

Despite his health problems, the lawns did not abandon anatomy.

He competed in weightlifting events, competed in the professional round as a bodybuilder, and finished in the top five of the three competitions he participated in.
