Established in 2008, Central has been in the World’s 50 Best Restaurants since 2013. And it will be the tenth time that these two chefs will celebrate this recognition as a result of a vote of 1,080 experts in the gastronomic field in 27 regions of the world. . “We have seven years in the top 10 and we know it’s normal to be nervous. The best result will make the restaurant an incredible platform to expand into Peru and Latin America in general. Micha Tsumura arrived in Spain on Thursday. After spending a few days in Madrid, the chef flies to Valencia today, where he will be part of the proceedings ahead of 50 Best’s big night. “I think it’s going to be a beautiful year for Peru and tourism. Besides the pride of Peruvian cuisine, it’s important not only for restaurants, but also economically. Micha Tsumura’s restaurant Maido was recognized as one of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants, ranking 11th in the World’s 50 Best Restaurants ranking. Additionally, it was recently ranked as the third best restaurant in Latin America.

Jaime Pesac will also be in Valencia to join the proceedings tomorrow, Sunday, with a welcome party for the chefs.
