Young man from Cordoba won Science and Technology competition in Latin America – El Sol de Córdoba

Córdoba, See.- The student Jesús Eduardo Méndez Oviedo obtained the gold with the project “Arcosan” in a Latin American contest on student projects in Science, Technology and Entrepreneurship Informatix Gulf – North region.

Jesús Eduardo Méndez Oviedo presented before the judges a modular sanitizing arch adaptable to any space with a sprinkler operation by means of motion sensors, with the aim of being used in the filters that are installed in companies, schools and shops.

With this type of project, the student marked an important advance in general knowledge of his technical career but also created ideas that provide support to the population with elements used in the coronavirus pandemic.

“I am very excited, I appreciate the support of my advisors and I describe as a moment of great adrenaline having participated in this contest and even more to go to the next phase, everything is experience so I invite my colleagues to try it, to dream that it is possible but above all to work on it to achieve those dreams ”.

Eduardo represented Conalep Veracruz because of the entity he was the only educational establishment that participated in this project attached to Science, Technology and Entrepreneurship.
