Xiaomi has launched its latest innovation in the world of smartphones with the long-awaited Xiaomi MIX Fold 3, its direct counterpart to Samsung’s Galaxy Fold5.

Performance with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Leica
The heart of the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 is a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor that delivers exceptional performance for the most demanding tasks. In addition, Xiaomi has collaborated with Leica to develop a high-quality periscope telephoto camera that takes the photography experience to new levels. With this combination, users can capture moments with stunning clarity and detail.
Optimized design and screen
This new model is thinner and lighter than its predecessors. Measuring 10.86 millimeters when closed and 5.26 millimeters when open, the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 feels very comfortable in the hand and pocket. Durability is guaranteed thanks to an ultra-resistant steel hinge that can withstand up to 500,000 opening and closing cycles.
Interior and exterior visuals have also been improved. The main screen, the Eco OLED Plus, offers an impressive 8.025-inch diagonal with a resolution of 2160×1916 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The external screen is 6.56-inch AMOLED with 2520×1080 pixels and Samsung resolution. E6 technology ensures high brightness and energy efficiency.

The Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 is equipped with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and storage options of 256 GB, 512 GB or 1024 GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It ensures smooth performance and enough space to store photos, videos and apps without any hindrance.
Advanced photography and customization options
The rear camera module consists of four lenses: a 50-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with a 75mm zoom capability, and a 12-megapixel perylene-telephoto 12-megapixel perylene-telephoto1 . Additionally, two 20-megapixel front cameras are included for selfies and video calls.
Users can choose between a fiberglass or composite chassis, allowing for deep customization to suit their preferences.
Availability and prices
The Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 will be available exclusively in China, with prices varying by configuration: 8,999 Yuan ($1,239.63 USD) for 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, 9,999 Yuan ($1,377 for the version with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage and 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage). 10,999 yuan ($1,515.14 USD) for the version.
While the device is expected to be available through unofficial channels in other regions, the international version of MIUI Fold 14 based on Android 13 will make this foldable device reach an even wider audience in the near future.
