WWE SmackDown Report 2/24 – Jimmy Uso joins his brother Jey

SmackDown took place from the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana.

– Jimmy Uso was interviewed backstage at the beginning of the episode. He makes it clear that he hasn’t been able to speak to his brother Jay yet, and offers to speak publicly later tonight.

– IMPERIUM defeated Madcap Moss, Braun Strowman and Ricochet. Drew McIntyre is attacked by the Viking Raiders before getting help from Sheamus. Ricochet and Braun Strowman also help put Ivar and Eric away.

– Rey Mysterio gets Santos Escobar backstage, who reiterates the great respect he has for Rey Mysterio. A moment of mutual appreciation is interrupted by Dominic Mysterio, who advises Santos not to be a “licker” to Rey. The latter leaves in shame at what has happened.

– LA Knight enters the ring. Everyone talks about the WrestleMania moments, but he clarifies that he only cares about the money and titles he gets there. The New Day interference makes it clear that a spot at WrestleMania is not claimed, but rather earned. Knight taunts Kofi, sparking the start of a match.

– Kofi Kingston defeated KA Knight.

– Charlotte Flair enters the ring and calls out Rhea Ripley to the stage. It’s Dominic Mysterio who comes on stage and tries to “flirt” with The Queen. Blair makes it clear that she has a real Latino man in the house and he’s not interested in her plans. Rhea Ripley appears before the attack on Dominique and briefly confronts Flair before coming out to ringside.

– Shayna Baszler (with Ronda Rousey) defeated Natalya. She then continues to attack but Taegan Noakes saves her.

– Firefly FunHouse Returns Bray Wyatt watches his promo with footage of Lashley from last week and we quickly cut to the various “TV Channels”. From a news section, “Can you keep me a secret?” That said, we cut to several secret images covered with a masked Bray.

– Paul Heyman informs Jimmy Uso that he needs to take care of his brother tonight or Roman Reigns will take care of his appearance problem next week.

– Karian Cross defeated Rey Mysterio after Dominic interfered.

After the fight, Dominic goes to the ring and urges his father to beat him. Ray can’t resist his fatherly instincts and decides to leave the ring with his head down.

– Jimmy Uso enters the ring. He understands what Jay must be feeling, but he knows very well that he will always be with him and that they can’t do anything without each other. Sami Zayn enters the ring and reminds him how close they were at The Bloodline, but he was hurt by his attack at the Royal Rumble. Jimmy blames his selfishness for breaking up his family. Jey appears in the audience and Jimmy starts to attack Sami but takes a helluva kick from Sami.

Chikowa alone leaves for the public area, and by the end of the episode the situation has diverged into several corners.
