WWE SmackDown Report 2/2 – The Rock challenges Roman Reigns for WrestleMania; Bayley challenges IYO Skye

Logan Paul enters the scene to kick off SmackDown.

“I'll be honest with you: I underestimated Kevin. He could hurt me more than Floyd Mayweather.”

Kevin Owens interrupted, saying he was happy to knock down his rival twice in one night and hinting at his desire to compete for the title again. Logan declines the challenge, claiming that he is much smarter than his rival. KO congratulates the referee for finding Mitten at the Royal Rumble, but he doesn't need it to win the title back. Austin Thierry and Grayson Waller make their entrance for the first headliner of the night.

Kevin Owens defeated Austin Theory.

British Strong Style (Tyler Pate and Pete Dunne) defeated Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince and Kid Wilson), LWO (Cruz del Toro and Joaquin Wilde) and El Legado del Fantasma (Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo) as a couple of challengers for the championship.

Bayley enters with a damage CTRL. The role model admits that she's had many ups and downs in the past year, but she wouldn't be where she is if it weren't for her peers. “Sometimes it's not about a title, it's about searching your heart and proving the people closest to you wrong, even if they call themselves your friends.” Bayley confronts Damage CTRL and assures her that she knows his plans to put her away. Asuka and Kairi Sane apply superkicks to their former leader! Bayley defends herself against her opponents and pushes them out of the ring. Yay, see you at WrestleMania!

Bobby Lashley and Street Profits come to the stage to face The Final Arrangement (Carion Cross, Agam and Rezar). The action quickly becomes chaotic and the battle barely begins. The two teams brawl until Scarlett interrupts Lashley. B-Fab comes to the rescue and allows a spear on Currion! All Mighty and his crew come out on their feet tonight.

Tiffany Stratton defeated “Michin” Mia Yim.

Roman Reigns and The Bloodline enter the scene. The tribe leader assures that the words of “his little brother” Seth Rollins are only a title for those above him. “Want to talk about work? I look ten times less than you, but I earn ten times more. Would you rather get paid like Chet or a tribal leader? Cody Rhodes interrupts a promo. “I was hoping this conversation would be a little more personal, and I'd like to be with you for a moment.” Only Chikova and Jimmy Uso left the ring.

Cody says he talked to all kinds of people about his decision. “You stole from me the moment I was closer than anyone else. Seth calls that title the 'Hollywood Championship,' but I see it as the same belt that Bruno Sammartino lifted decades ago.” Cody promises to take the title from Roman… but not at WrestleMania XL. The Rock appears on SmackDown! Cody left the ring after hugging The People's Champ, who was staring at Roman Reigns to end the episode.
