Since its establishment in 1962, Puerto Rico’s Great Combo He has taken good salsa and Puerto Rican culture around the world and continues to travel to different countries and locations.

Traveling by flights, trains and buses “Taste of Mulattoes” Visiting every corner with their sass becomes a normal routine. However, on their way to Connecticut for a concert at the historic Palace Theater in Waterbury on Friday this week, they never imagined that a new “mulatto” would join them on the bus that would take them into town.

Members of El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico were on their way to Waterbury when they had to stop the transit bus because they found a new passenger, as documented in a video on the group’s social networks.

“We’re on tour in Connecticut, but there’s a raccoon and we had to get off the bus, so that’s why we’re here,” singer Jerry Rivas said as he stepped off the bus with other members of the group. .

“Adventures with Combo! Last night while we were on our way to Connecticut, we realized we had a special guest with us… a raccoon! Enjoy this adventure…”, read the brochure they shared on social media.

In between jokes and comments, members of the group learned about a raccoon traveling in transit, which they were able to remove from the broom, according to the video.

By the end of the trip they had reached their destination and were able to present their salsa set at the Palace Theater in Waterbury.

“Thank you Waterbury, CT! Our first show at the Palace Theatre! Only! Thanks for joining us!” said the members at the end of the concert.
