Share it, the popular messaging app, has officially announced a complete redesign of its interface, promising a more attractive and completely revamped look. Additionally, it has an improved dark mode and improves app performance, improving the user experience on iPhone devices.

In a brief announcement via its X account, WhatsApp revealed a series of new features that will be implemented in the coming weeks with new versions of the app. Every week, WhatsApp surprises with new features designed to improve the user experience, and this latest update is no exception.

This is what notifications look like on WhatsApp.

Newly introduced exciting features include the long-awaited ability to react to statuses, the ability to host events directly from the app, and a new double-arrow icon for sending files. Additionally, WhatsApp has implemented password protection and a dialer that promises to replace traditional calls.

Last month, WhatsApp already introduced changes to its design interface Now, there is a palette in use Green colors and neutrals that unify the viewing experience, with a “Dark Dark Mode” to reduce eye strain in low-light environments.

The update brings with it new rounded icons, fun animations and a modern default background for conversations, resulting in a fresh and current aesthetic. On iOS, sending photos and videos is simplified with a new interface design that allows for a clearer and more efficient experience.

To round off this great update, WhatsApp is finally introducing the long-awaited chat filters that will let you find important conversations with a single tap.
