Rimac, a technology company that takes its name from the nickname of its Croatian founder, Mate Rimac, I showed This Tuesday on its official website, the characteristics of its new electric car Nevera, whose prototype C2 was revealed a few years ago.

Introducing the car, the company noted that its unique expertise in electric powertrains enables it to “design and deliver maximum performance in our supercars.” Niveria is named after a fast, sudden and powerful Mediterranean storm that crosses the open sea off Croatia, because, according to Rimac, it “bears the characteristics of a unique meteorological force.”

The model has four motors, one for each wheel, which work synchronously as a single mechanism. With Rimac’s Intelligent Torque Vectoring (R-AWTV) system, the vehicle analyzes the torque deployed in each one more than 100 times per second, in order to achieve the desired driving dynamics.

Together, this system delivers 1,914 horsepower, allowing the vehicle to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 1.97 seconds and giving it a top speed of 412 km/h.

The company stressed that each unit would be “manufactured by hand” at the company’s headquarters in Croatia, to ensure that it “operates beyond expectations”. In total, only 150 copies will be manufactured. According to Matty Rimack, mentioned above According to Bloomberg, they will each be priced at $2.4 million.
