Ukraine.- Russian forces carried out airstrikes in Kiev overnight, Ukrainian military officials said on Friday, noting that all the missiles were intercepted and destroyed.

“New airstrike at Kew, 13th since early May. As always, at night,” the Ukrainian capital’s military administration said on its Telegram account.

As he explained, Tu-95MS bombers fired cruise missiles at the city from the Caspian Sea.

“According to preliminary information, all enemy targets in Kiev airspace were detected and destroyed,” the military administration said, adding that there were no material damage or casualties.

Ukrainian military command reported 55 Russian airstrikes, including 36 bomber drones and four missiles, in the past 24 hours.

In detail, the S-300 missile hit a dam in Karlivka in the Donetsk region in the east of the country, so “neighboring cities are at high risk of flooding.”

Meanwhile, in Russia, an “explosion” damaged a building in Krasnodar, a city near the Crimean peninsula, without causing casualties, according to local officials, as cited by Russian news agency RIA Novosti.
