The Fraternity Council of Seville presented the poster for Holy Week in Seville, which left no one indifferent. This is a picture by Salustiano García of a resurrected figure with the armor of the brotherhood of the puppy and Christ's powers of love.

The author has recreated Christ as his son Horatio. There were reactions on social media. “Terrible” is one of the most overused adjectives.

The poster is an oil painting on canvas in a realistic style and plays with three colors: red, black and white, in addition to light. A sense of three-dimensionality is provided by the use of natural pigments.

The Penitential Section of the General Council of Brotherhoods and Brotherhoods of the City of Seville, after the knowledge of the Supreme Board, appointed Salustiano García Cruz, artistically known as “Salustiano”, as poster artist for Holy Week in Seville in 2024. Born in Villaverde del Río (Seville) in 1965, Salustiano graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Seville. Citing the Stoa Gallery, the Fraternity Council pointed out, “Salustiano is a Sevillian painter, a master of figurative art, who deserves international recognition. His works stand out for their striking portraits, their brilliant processing technique and that refined elegance that only the classics can achieve.
