At around 06:30 this Tuesday, criminals robbed an armored car in a shopping center north of Quito.
The attackers were apparently waiting for an armored car inside the Carabungo shopping centre. They posed as patrons of a gym. Four people were said to have been inside the mall and then fled on a motorcycle.

The official pointed out that the guards did not demand the valuable security service provided by the police.
