If the sensor fails completely, the ECM can’t read the correct data to start the ignition, at which point your car won’t start, or sometimes it starts and shuts off immediately.

2.- Camshaft position sensor

Among the car sensors, apart from the crankshaft sensor, the Camshaft Position Sensor (CPS) plays the most important and indispensable role in the car. The purpose of this sensor is to measure the rotations and position of the camshaft.

One of the sensors that can cause your vehicle to not start is the mass air flow sensor. A popular symptom of bad MAF sensors is a car that won’t start.

If the MAP sensor incorrectly reads low air, the ECM will order low fuel, at which point your combustion chamber will not have enough fuel and air to fire the spark plugs, and your vehicle will not start. to begin.

5.- Fuel pressure sensor

If your car is having trouble starting or isn’t getting the power it needs, the fuel pressure sensor could be bad. In short, its main function is to detect the pressure in the fuel system and optimize the fuel level.
