The Pensar Malvinas space opened its doors

In the framework of the commemoration of the Day of the Veteran and the Fallen in the Malvinas War, the Municipality carries out a series of programmed activities within the framework of current sanitary restrictions.

USHUAIA.- This Saturday, at 3:00 p.m., a series of guided visits were made to the Thinking Malvinas Space, after registration of those interested.

“We want our neighbors to know our heritage and its connection to a cause as important to all Fuegians as the Malvinas Cause. That is why we invite everyone to come closer and learn a little more about our Argentine presence in the Islands from the Thinking Malvinas Space ”, said the Undersecretary of International Relations, Antarctic and Malvinas Affairs, Cecilia Fiocchi.

Activities include a virtual race, the World runs through the Malvinas; Guided visits to the Islas Malvinas square, on March 26, 29 and 31 at 11:00; a literary workshop with Luis Comis in the Pensar Malvinas space, on Tuesday, March 30 at 8:00 p.m., in the Pensar Malvinas Space and the exhibition of Architecture and Planning in Malvinas (1764-1833) that will be at the SUM of the Colegio de Architects (Yaganes 271) from April 1 to 9 between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

There will also be 10% discounts in city bookstores on Malvinas-themed books at the Book Boutique (San Martín 1120), La Último Bita (San Martín 130), Monte Olivia (San Martín 499), Ushuaia Libros (25 de Mayo 330) and World’s End (San Martín 505). The promotion is valid between April 26 and 2.
