Cal Trabal, the last agricultural stronghold in l’Hospitalet de Llobregat, will be a special protection zone for birds (Zepa), according to the Generalitat de Catalunya’s planning to respond to the letter of summons from the European Commission due to the lack of protection from the Llobregat delta.
The enclave is located in the sector where the city council of Catalonia’s second largest city and the Ministry of Vice President, Digital Policies and Trettore want to promote a biomedical conglomerate by burying part of Granvia.

The plan also transforms La Olla del Rei into Zepa, an area of great natural value in Castelldefels. In this case, Consistory reacted by celebrating the procedure but asking that it be defined “in the shortest possible period of time”.
