In the presence of the presidential delegate, Luz Bermúdez, the regional advisors, Miguel Serpe and Antonio Bradacic, the advisors Veronica Aguilar and Jorge Risco, as well as special guests such as former union leader Clemente Galvez, the general manager of Enap Magellan, Pablo Martinez and Paulina Lagos, the deputy director of personnel for the Enap workers’ union inaugurated Magallanes, the “Open House”, an open space for the entire Magellanic Society in order to make space for organizations that need it.

The Vice-President of the Federation, Alejandro Avendanio, noted that we have always been with the community since the Federation, but today we have a physical place to do all activities with social, cultural and sports organizations, among others. “I thank all my fellow union members for their strong commitment to our neighbors and neighbors.”

The union leader said: “We are very happy and proud to hand over this house as a community headquarters that will be managed by the union and it was a decision of the entire board of directors to hand over this house which will be the property of the community.”

On her part, the Presidential delegate, Luz Bermudez, highlighted the initiative on the part of the workers as they are going in the right direction to build a better society, not only to generate spaces but also dialogues between different social organizations.
Finally, there was an artistic performance by prominent musicians, Tommy Villarroel and Fago, who delighted the attendees with Latin American music. Likewise, it has been reported that the “Open House” will begin operating as of tomorrow as a vaccination center for the elderly and the community in general, a process that will be managed by the health service.
