Goodbye to stickers on the iPhone 16 box
The removal of these items follows a trend Apple has maintained in recent years: reducing the amount of parts in the box of its products. First the headphones disappeared, then the charger, now the seals. While Apple has not released an official statement on the specific reason behind the decision, many are reporting that it is part of the company's efforts to meet its environmental obligations.
During the presentation of the iPhone 16 series, Apple reiterated its goal to be a carbon neutral company by 2030. This means reducing the use of non-essential ingredients and packaging in its products. Removing stickers from the iPhone case is a step that aligns with this sustainability strategy.
