Police conducted operations at major entry and exit points of the province. They relied on witness statements to the crime and claim they were able to determine the identity of the alleged perpetrators of the violent robbery.

Citizens O and R were apprehended in Camagüey when they were traveling in another stolen car with false license plates.

“Their modus operandi is to steal cars and then engage in commercial smuggling across the country. This shows the link between O and R in the chain of criminal robbery so that they will have to pay in court,” Fuerza said. Del Pueblo.
