An intensive summer training and stage creation seminar will be offered between February 7 and 10 under the coordination of Canela Corno, an actress and performer who graduated from the La Plata Theater School.
Aimed at artists and stage performers, and those who want to train and enhance their expressive body, it will be held at La Marylin, the castle house built in 1920 which, with its beautiful architecture and film settings, will be a prized object of creation.
Investigate the body in space, the space in the voice and the body in the word, in addition to “all the possible and impossible links”, as explained by the coordinator, will be addressed during the classes that will take place on the 7th, 8th, 9th and 10 of the next month between 19.30 and 22.30.
With extensive experience in the local scene, Canela Corno, who continued to train in different spaces and disciplines – from biodrama to dance and aerial performance – after graduating from the ETLP, was recently part of the Luz Natural Residence at Site Specific , coordinated by Valeria Junquera and produced by Mula Cultura for the sixth edition of the Aúra festival.
The actress, who since 2014 coordinates and directs acting training and scenic creation workshops, was also part as co-creator and performer of the performance work “Glasses”, a collective creation that was generated and premiered during the pandemic along with three other artists.
Last year, together with Valeria Piscicelli, Canela coordinated a new edition of the “Mobile Body” residency at the UNLP Art Center, a project that was conceived in October 2020 in the midst of the COVID pandemic crisis. -19.
