Miami. American Space Agency NASA It was announced this Friday that it had been delivered SpaceX A contract 8 2,890 million Taking astronauts to the moon in 2024, the company considers that it has “everything they need” for their lunar missions.

NASA told a news conference that they had chosen the Artemis program that best suited its requirements, its lunar strategy, federal government budget and landing protection.

The deal, dubbed the Artemis Project Human Landing System (HLS), is the brainchild of Amazon leader Jeff Bezos’ space agency Blue Origin and the world’s richest man.

  1. The SpaceX Starship will explode after landing

  2. From Cagos to NASA and to send a robot to Mars

The HLS agreement provides for lunar launch and landing “before 2024”.

Elon Musk, the founder of SpaceX, has more to offer than Bezos, which has partnered with Dynamics and Lockheed Martin Corp, Northrobe Groman Corp and Dropper.

Muskin will be responsible for continuing the development of the first commercial human lander to carry the next two American astronauts safely to the lunar surface.

One of those astronauts will make history as the first woman on the moon.

The agency’s space launch system is launching a total of four astronauts aboard the Orion spacecraft for a multi – day mission in lunar orbit.

There, the two of them will travel to SpaceX’s Human Landing System (HLS) for the final leg of their journey to the lunar surface.

After about a week of exploring the surface, they will board the lander for their short journey and return to orbit, where they will return to Orion before returning to Earth.

“This important move sets humanity on the path to sustainable lunar exploration and keeps our eyes on more distant missions in the solar system, including Mars,” said Kathy Louders, NASA’s chief of manned missions.

Unlike the Apollo moon landing, 50 years ago, NASA was preparing to stay on this Earth satellite for a long time.

This existence will allow humans to reach Mars with the help of the private sector.

“During the Apollo program, it seemed impossible: take humans to the moon,” said Lisa Watson-Morgan, HLS project manager at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama.

Thanks to the new collaborative approach “We will send American astronauts back to the lunar surface once again, this time exploring new areas for a long time.”

NASA says SpaceX’s HLS spacecraft is designed to land on the moon, relying on the company’s proven Raptor engines and the flying tradition of the Balkans and Dragon vehicles.
