The elderly are easy prey For those trying to steal pension money. which Recent scams What do these groups of people face? According to various experts, Social Security fraud is on the rise And some predictions suggest that things will get worse as the months of 2023 roll around.

The most common scams range from mail fraud to calls from people posing as authorities Claimants receive certain information from the Social Security Administration (SSA) and by phone that require an urgent change to a beneficiary’s account.

Alternatively, they ask you to pay with a retail gift card, wire transfer, prepaid debit cards, digital currency, or send money through the mail to avoid arrest.
