(CNN) — Just call her #badgirl.

Musician and former “Gossip Girl” star Taylor Momsen took it all after being bitten by a bat while on stage in Spain last week.

Momsen and her band The Pretty Reckless were performing a song when a bat hit Momsen in the thigh, according to several videos posted on her Instagram page over the weekend.

One videos Momsen showed the exact moment she asked members of the production for help when she realized she had a bat on her leg. In the video, several people run to the stage to help, and seconds later the bat is seen flying away. The video also shows Mommsen getting an injection in the leg at a hospital.

“I really should be a witch,” she joked to the crowd, referring to the song “Witch's Burn” she was performing when the incident happened.

Momson wrote in the caption that he “didn't know” the bat stuck to his leg until the “incredulous crowd continued to scream and point.”

“He was cute, but yeah, he bit me,” she added.

Momson wrote that he will receive rabies vaccinations in the next two weeks. “She also thanked the hospital staff who saw it on the local news that morning and nicknamed me #batgirl.

CNN has reached out to Momson's rep for an update on the singer's condition.

Others Video Momsen's post shows the “Gossip Girl” actress walking backstage after the show as she reacts to the incident, saying the bat was “clinging for dear life” and “scared” at the time.

The rabies virus is transmitted through direct contact with an infected animal, including the saliva or tissue of the brain and nervous system. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).. The rabies virus attacks the central nervous system and causes brain disease that can be fatal without treatment.

The CDC recommends seeing a doctor for post-exposure treatment immediately after contact with an animal. Post-exposure treatment for those who have not received rabies vaccine includes one dose of immune globulin and four doses of vaccine over a two-week period.

Momsen and The Pretty Reckless will both kick off AC/DC's Power Up Tour this summer. After the otherwise horrifying incident, Mommson also posted a photo of himself posing next to a “No Bats” board taped to some of AC/DC's stage equipment.

“Well… @acdc has the best team ever”, wrote Momsen in the title. “I love you guys!!!”

Mommsen is the lead singer of the rock band The Pretty Reckless, formed in 2009. She is also known for her role as Jenny Humphrey on the show “Gossip Girl”, in which she appeared continuously from 2007 to 2010.
