Schools must guarantee a distance of 1.5 meters between students

The Ministry of Education (MINERT) has released the General Protocol for the Beginning of the 2021-2022 School Year, which establishes preventive, operational and follow-up measures for the protection of the educational community against Govt-19 disease.

These activities include the physics plant, equipment, supplies and disposable items, as well as guidance and important information for the center’s staff, students and their families.

To reach distances in classrooms and other spaces, educational centers should be 1.5 meters away per student; As well as guaranteed to work in natural ventilation and open spaces.

“In refrigerated environments, it is very important to open the windows several times a day, and whether these ventilation systems work properly and provide adequate indoor air quality,” the document states.

Likewise, the bathroom should have mechanisms for drying hands, water, liquid soap and trash cans, whose lids do not need to be manually manipulated.

On the other hand, during snacks and school lunches, pre-packaged meals should be given priority.

As for the staff of the centers, it was established that they must have gel, alcohol and oral cards.

Similarly, Minert states that schools must thoroughly clean and disinfect all areas of the center before and after each use.

It is aimed at children and adolescents working with adaptation in the classroom and supporting their psychologically vulnerable well-being.

According to the company, the program will be actively developed in the first two weeks of the school year and will then proceed with less intensity.
