In this context, the president of the Comodoro Deportes Autárquico Entity, Hernán Martínez, stated that “this project that we are developing with the UNPSJB is advancing at a great pace and we are already in the last steps, since the ground is prepared, the placement of the fence and work is being done on sidewalks and lighting ”.
“The idea is that in mid-May the carpet can be laid and then move forward with the final details, with the aim that the work is completed in a month and a half. This playing field will be multifunction, since, due to its characteristics, disciplines such as soccer, hockey and handball can be practiced ”, he said.
In the same way, the official explained that “we have been working together with the University for years, articulating actions in different aspects jointly, with the permanent accompaniment of the Municipal State. In this case, we strengthen the development of sports activities, taking into account that this space will not only be for students, but for the entire community ”.
Finally, Martínez indicated that “due to the growth of our city, the headquarters of Km. 4 was surrounded by neighborhoods, which results in a greater interaction between the entity and the neighbors. From the Municipality, we are going to work on planning so that everyone can use this space in an organized way ”.
