Otexandeanu calls for the creation of a “collaborative space” that drives the most powerful force – elections

The EH Beldo candidate, Belo Otexandiano, has called for the creation of a collaborative space between the different political forces around a nationalist agenda that excludes the reactionary right and is led by the most vocal force.

In statements to the media in Portojeti, Otexandeanu highlighted that EH Beldo is preparing to face the challenge posed by the upcoming elections to the Basque Parliament at a time when we are facing the exhaustion of the political cycle.

For Oxandiano, Euskadi is in the early stages of a new political cycle, which requires moving from a politics of exclusion to a politics of cooperation or collaboration around a transformative and progressive national agenda.

He pointed out the need to raise a discussion about maintaining quality in public services, the right to housing, how to dignify care and make it collective, and ensure that education is a basic pillar in building this country.

These challenges require the creation of a collaborative space between different political forces around a transformative and progressive country agenda, Otexandiano stated, stressing that this is the policy that EH Bildu is trying to implement wherever it is.

When asked about possible governmental agreements, the EH Beldu candidate pointed out that once the reactionary right is excluded, it will be natural for the force with the largest number of votes to lead governments that are launched in this cooperative space, but always on the state agenda. Transformative and progressive.

She considered it necessary to exclude the reactionary right from the political equation because it has a reactionary agenda regarding rights and freedoms, a denialist agenda regarding the climate emergency, and a supremacist agenda regarding the rights of national communities.

Otexandiano insisted that after excluding this right, a space must be created for cooperation between the rest of the political forces, and he considered that it is not logical at this moment to exclude the first political force, as happened in Gipuzkoa. Vitoria and Durango.

Lehendakari Party candidate for EH Bildu said that this politics of alliances, the politics of reactive alliances, does not respond to political pluralism in this country and makes no sense at all.

Regarding the words of PNV President Andoni Ortuzar during yesterday's event in Durango in which he indicated that his party would win the regional elections, Otexandiano considered that this would be decided by the citizens.
