Scout LaRue Willis has compiled photos on her Instagram feed, where she traces the different moments she spent throughout the year 2023 and uploaded a snapshot of her father next to her.
“A great year for Scout (a play between her name and the word's meaning of “exploration”). Welcome to happiness,” she wrote in her post. In one picture, she was shaking hands with her father, who was in bed, and the two looked tenderly at each other.
The young musician shared other unreleased images with Willis a few weeks ago, which represent a moment of lucidity from the actor in a difficult trance that he experiences due to his pre-eclampsia.
In late November, on her Instagram stories, Scout LaRue showed a short clip in which she extended her hand to the Hollywood star, who, despite her sight loss, recognized her by returning the gesture. “My boy,” she wrote.
