Nearly 10,000 children participate in science at Huila • La Nación

About 42 research groups from different municipalities of Huila participated in the Departmental, Science and Territory Meeting, which was held at the Fairgrounds, in the capital of Huila.

The objective of this meeting was to communicate results through the exchange of knowledge, practices, and perspectives on science and research among Ondas children, adolescents, youth and educators, and to highlight, highlight and recognize Ondas’ outstanding projects at the national level. .

The event, organized by the Ondas Huila Program and the government, is a commitment to developing scientific attitudes and skills. “The Ondas program is a strategy of the Mentality and Culture Directorate of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation and its purpose is to foster interest in research and develop attitudes and skills in boys, girls, adolescents and young adults. They have a passion for science and research so that they can make this a project for life,” Minister Melina Oliveros noted.

“In the Huila department, the Ondas program is implemented through the 2019 Special Cooperation Agreement 075, signed between the Government of Huila, the Ministry of Science and the University of Surcolombiana. The total resources invested under this agreement amounted to 3553 million dollars, 461.223 pesos, of which 2690 million dollars 014,073 pesos, resources from the proceeds of the science and technology fund provided by the government,” he added.
