During the meeting, Juana Echizarita, President of the Salami Council, gave Tandil some details of the experience in her sector and the appellation of origin.

Petrantonio described the meeting as “very good” and highlighted the willingness shown by some of the producers. “From the municipality, we understand the associated management as a city development scheme, we have a large number of examples and we want to try to move forward with the producers of knives, a product with a distinct and widely recognized tandel tradition.”

In addition, they will participate in various meetings with members from other cities around the world and work towards the possibility of Tandil hosting the World Meeting of Cutlery Capitals in the coming years.
