The stage that will host insightful live performances by Tirzah, Special Interest, Nation, 33EMYBW, Oren Ambarchi, Julia Reidy, Kassem Mosse, Oma Totem and Shelly, dazzling DJ sets from Crystallmess and Mad Miran and the much-anticipated b2b between Hudson Mohawke and Nikki Nair

DICE’s alliance with the MIRA Digital Arts Festival is strengthened in this new edition of the most important event with the most innovative electronic music of the fall season in Barcelona. The meeting, which will take place on November 10 and 11, will repeat its location in Fira de Montjuïc for the second year in a row.

Once again, The Ground by DICE has the duty to host the boldest appearances with the most vibrant festival spirit. A theater designed so that our feet never stop dancing to the most beautiful sounds. The most emerging currents are represented by artists who explore and combine different styles. Twelve intense shows over two days with the most surprising live performances and strongest DJ sets to understand the new musical narratives moving the world.

A meeting of styles and diversity of sound

Once again this year, live performances are the main protagonists of The Ground by DICE, providing a good description of the multiple audio languages that have a place in this scenario. From the experimental pop of British singer-songwriter Terzeh, who will be arriving at the festival for the first time to present her upcoming album; To the New Orleans band Special Interest, which champions dance music imbued with the essence of punk. The rebellious and reflective chaos of enigmatic duo Nation will blend with producer and visual artist 33EMYBW’s sensibility and avant-garde conception of club music.

The Ground by DICE is a place that will generate diverse sonic contrasts with artists who have personal discourses based on the most advanced music. The guitar experiments of Australian Oren Ambarchi, which give rise to a sound world that is completely untransferable. His compatriot Julia Reddy will process the guitar sounds with electronic music, field recordings and heavily auto-tuned vocals. Music producer Qassim Moussi will show his prowess when it comes to deconstructing the hazy sound halfway between techno and house music. Local talent is represented by oma totem, their sonic concept full of complex beats and rhythms, and with Shelly, who is heavily influenced by British bass and more inclusive left-wing techno. In addition, Goto80 and engineer Jacob Remen will perform Infinite Acid Machine, where they and a group of robots will play acid music and create images in an impromptu show on both nights of the festival.

Dance floor with the sounds of the future

At night, The Ground by DICE will be the perfect place to dance to the most innovative DJ sets. A stage that will welcome for the first time in Spain the energetic meeting between the Scottish producer Hudson Mohawk and the American producer and DJ Nikki Nair, the modern duo in the most hybrid club music. French band Crystallmess will never fall short in their mix that goes from hardcore rap to footwork through techno. While the crazy Dutchman Miran stands out as a comprehensive artist capable of cohesively uniting electro, bass music, IDM or dubstep in the same session.
