The Minister of Popular Power for Science and Technology, Gabriela Jiménez Ramírez, stressed that the Venezuelan population must go to vaccination centers to reduce COVID-19 infections.
“When I get vaccinated, I guarantee the decrease in the appearance of variants of the virus, and this allows us to control the number of viruses that can transform their ability to infect and attack humans. The vaccine is the best tool we have to take care of the Venezuelan people and the world, “he said.
He argued that 60% of the vaccination against SARS-CoV-2 of the Venezuelan population has been exceeded: “We have had important alliances that have allowed us to access effective vaccines such as Sputnik V, Sinopharm and Abdala. The President established 85% as a goal to vaccinate the people and we will meet it in 2021; we have the supply of vaccines and we have more than 200 vaccination centers nationwide that work from Monday to Sunday, ”he insisted.
