Puerto Rican multiplatinum artist and Latin GRAMMY® nominee Lenny Tavárez is continuing the rollout of his upcoming EP 8 with the release of “Mi Gallery,” a new reggaetón single that explores the memories left behind after a relationship comes to an end.

The track serves as the third preview of 8, a project structured around eight songs and eight emotional chapters. Its release also coincides with a major editorial milestone for Tavárez, who appears on the latest cover of Rolling Stone en Español as he enters another stage of his artistic and personal development.

“Mi Gallery” Turns Memories Into a Reggaetón Story

Built around a reggaetón foundation, “Mi Gallery” focuses on the emotional space that remains after two people have gone their separate ways. Photographs, memories and small details from a past relationship become part of an emotional “gallery” that continues to exist even after the relationship itself has ended.

Rather than approaching separation solely through heartbreak, Tavárez uses nostalgia as the central theme. The song examines the tension between holding on to meaningful memories and accepting that a relationship has reached its conclusion.

The emotional subject matter is paired with the rhythmic energy of reggaetón, creating a track intended to work both as a reflective song and as a dance-floor release. The combination reflects Tavárez’s established ability to transform personal experiences into music designed to connect with a broad audience.

“Mi Gallery” also reinforces the more personal direction behind his upcoming project, with each release revealing another part of the larger story Tavárez is developing.

Upcoming EP “8” Explores Eight Emotional Chapters

The new single represents another chapter of 8, which has been conceived as a collection of eight songs exploring different dimensions of love and relationships.

The project covers themes including attraction, desire, memories, impossible love, destiny, vulnerability, adrenaline and celebration. Each track functions as an individual emotional chapter while contributing to a broader narrative that develops progressively throughout the EP.

That structure allows Tavárez to examine relationships from multiple perspectives rather than concentrating on a single emotional experience. “Mi Gallery” contributes to the project through its focus on memory and the lingering emotional connection that can remain after a relationship has ended.

The EP is also positioned as one of Tavárez’s most personal and intentional projects to date, reflecting an effort to combine his established musical identity with a broader exploration of personal experiences.

Rolling Stone Cover Highlights Tavárez’s Evolution

The arrival of “Mi Gallery” coincides with Tavárez appearing on the latest cover of Rolling Stone en Español, providing additional attention to a period of transition in his career.

The feature examines his journey from his early years with Dyland & Lenny to his subsequent development as an individual artist. It also looks at the balance Tavárez has found in his life, his growth both within and outside music, and the importance he places on remaining true to himself while continuing to evolve creatively.

His creative process and the development of 8 are also central to the feature. The project represents an opportunity for Tavárez to explore different sides of his artistic identity while building on the career he has established within Latin urban music.

The cover arrives as Tavárez emphasizes maturity, versatility and creative freedom in his current work. It also highlights the legacy he has developed over the course of his career while pointing toward the musical direction he is pursuing with 8.

A New Chapter for Lenny Tavárez

With “Mi Gallery,” Tavárez continues to connect the rollout of 8 with recognizable emotional experiences while maintaining the reggaetón sound that has played a central role in his career.

The single’s combination of nostalgia, vulnerability and rhythmic production provides another indication of how the eight-song project will approach relationships through different emotional perspectives.

As additional chapters of 8 are revealed, the project is expected to further develop its interconnected narrative and showcase different facets of Tavárez’s musical identity.

“Mi Gallery” is now available across digital music platforms.
