Mexico City. Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak suffered a stroke this Wednesday, which is why he canceled a conference he was scheduled to hold at the World Business Forum (WBF) in Mexico, which was held in Santa Fe, Mexico City.

Sources close to Wobi confirmed day The tech company’s co-founder had health problems and was transferred to a hospital in Santa Fe during the day.

“It is a medical issue and the information the family is sharing with us is limited, we know he is stable. He was transferred to a top hospital in Santa Fe in the afternoon, so the conference he had planned was cancelled,” a source confirmed to this media outlet.

Wozniak is hosting a conference this Wednesday from 4:25pm to 5:25pm at Wobi to talk about future technology trends. This presentation was replaced by a talk by American businessman Marshall Goldsmith.

Wozniak was born in San Jose, California. He is a programmer, philanthropist and new technology entrepreneur. In 1971 he met Steve Jobs and in 1976 they founded Apple. He is credited with creating the first personal computer.
